Howard Day's video: PREVIEW - Secret Rebel Base Environment WIP

Auroras, driven by the highly ionized dust in the giants rings, paint ghostly gentle curves around the equator of Kiebant. Which also, conveniently enough, provides ample EM interference to hide a secret rebel base in the rings, all but completely invisible to sensors unless you're right on top of it. It's here that a rag-tag group of rebel fighters, corvette gunships, and hired mercenaries gather to assault a lone Procursator Class Star Destroyer - feinting to draw the empire's attention towards Sullust. This is the preview of the background/environment for the first shot in the B-wing return/dive-bomb/etc short. I'm trying to finally get some movement on this guy, and I hope you all enjoy this look into some work in progress. The Rebel base will be embedded in the big asteroid to the middle-left's big crater. it'll be revealed after the 'roid spins around. To-do: Add more small rock variations, add depth dust to call out the distance of the farthest asteroid a bit, add the underlying ring structure and materials, build a rebel base (should be quick) make rebel window shaders (re-used on the new Mon-Cal ships and some of the Corellian ones. Finish the B-wings, add them in flying by, and a couple of other secrit things I want to be a surprise. :D Enjoy!
