Howard Day's video: Starfleet Guard Cutter USS Munro in 4K

@Starfleet Guard Cutter, USS Munro! (in 4K)
Here's a spin-around of my Starfleet Cutter, the USS Munro! It's a small ship with big responsibilities - Rescues, interdictions, customs, and immigration. For those curious, the Bussard Collectors are between the Saucer halves, right in front of the bridge, it doesn't have a dedicated shuttle bay, and the saucer gap is used to hold/detain/rescue small runabout-scale craft. It's got two Cruiser-scale tractor beam emitters on either side to make sure no-one bails. The change to a NGC registry is for "Guard" referencing the coast guard, since that's the role this guy fills. More littoral than the "deep-water" larger ships of the fleet. (This is also why it's a "Cutter" rather than "Starship") Here is the video at 4K resolution: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lR0aD6DcKdIUU_o-xG5Qf9RXxpIK2DQe/view?usp=sharing Enjoy! The music is from Starfleet Academy - "Crew Introduction": https://youtu.be/YGHN4eBRQzU?list=PL1E34D15A932A0537 As always this is rendered in 3DSMax 2024.2, using VRay 6 GPU Optix. I'm using two 4090 RTX rigs, each doing half the frames. Render time averages were 58s to 1m25s at 110% 4K rez, with about 2-4s for post effects application per frame. 1440 frames in total. Post in After Effects, using Sapphire by BorisFX for the lens flares, and Red Giant Looks for the color correction.
