Hawk No_486 's video: 4 Derelict 1960s Shires Cisterns 4 1940s XL pans 12 18

@4 Derelict 1960s Shires Cisterns & 4 1940s "XL" pans (12" & 18")
Two scenarios: "XL" Possibly made at the XL Works in 99 Tanner Street, Bermondsey, or made for & retailed by Frank Love Ltd? Only one is flushed here. I found a pan in the old skool building with XL imprinted underneath it, but nothing else, the seat on the full sized one is enough of a giveaway. So anyway, this is in a derp in my town, it's had a site manager living there, but has recently left which gave me the chance to check here at last. I saw a LL overflow a while back, and thought it would all be the same. Little did I know, much more was to come. These are probably the most intact outdoor skool WCs in the country. This closed in 1980 and still remains derelict today. Some interesting things await me at the first building, this was formerly the outside boys WCs, the urinal is literally just a wall, and there are four cubicles, one is staff only. All remain intact, but the LL Shires Lynx cistern is clinging on for dear life. I didn't think I could flush any, but there were buckets filled with water on site, so why not give it a go? Although temperamental (as expected) it flushes brilliantly.
