HowlRound Theatre Commons's video: The 1619 Project One Act Festival Talkback with Dr Nikole Hannah Jones on Friday 17 February 2023

Bishop Arts Theater Center presents a talkback following The 1619 Project, One-Act Festival Talkback livestreaming on the global, commons-based, peer-produced HowlRound TV network on Friday 17 February 2023 at 7:55 p.m. PST (San Francisco, UTC -8) / 9:55 p.m. CST (Dallas, UTC -6) / 10:55 p.m. EST (New York, UTC -5). Beginning February 2023, Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC) will produce The 1619 Project, One-Act Festival in Dallas, Texas. BATC commissioned nine playwrights to pen a script inspired by Dr. Nikole Hannah-Jones' Pulitzer prize-winning New York Times bestseller, The 1619 Project. Dr. Hannah-Jones will attend the production on Friday 17 February 2023 and participate in a talkback after the performance. The performance is made possible in part by the All Stars Project and Dallas Truth Racial Healing and Transformation.
