Jubil Khan grew up in the city of Philadelphia with her mom and sister. The only Deaf child in the family, she has the best of both worlds. She learned to speak fluently as well as communicate in sign language. Her mom pushed for her to have a good education. In her teen years, she was suddenly exposed to a different culture, the Deaf and ASL culture at MSSD ( Model Secondary School for the Deaf) high school. Along with obtaining her education, She followed her love for dance and acting to creatively express herself in the performing arts. She wanted to create her tune and define her own narratives of who she is as a black deaf girl. Her growing years into an independent woman, took her to multiple avenues. Other than the many great opportunities she had with dancing, acting, modeling, interview host , Deaf advocate, as well as supervisor in visual merchandising/styling (for the love of fashion), she currently paves her journey into health and wealth. Holistic spiritual living practice is important as well as learning and building generational wealth to build and create our story for the next generation. It’s about building a legacy and inspire those to know my work. She continues to learn to building a business and a brand as the world is changing. https://howlround.com/happenings/livestreaming-conversation-deafwoke-jubil-khan
