Please note that Facebook's interface might have changed since then, so the steps may vary slightly. If you're accessing Facebook from a web browser on your computer, you can follow these instructions: 1. **Log in to your account:** Go to Facebook's website and log in with your current email address and password. 2. **Access Settings:** Once you're logged in, click on the downward-facing arrow in the top-right corner of the Facebook page. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings & Privacy" and then click on "Settings." 3. **General Account Settings:** In the left-hand column, you'll see "General." Click on it to access your general account settings. 4. **Email:** Look for the "Contact" section, where you'll find your current email address listed. Click on "Edit" to the right of your email address. 5. **Add New Email Address:** A dialog box will appear, asking you to enter a new email address. Type in the new email address you want to use for your Facebook account. 6. **Re-enter Password:** After entering the new email address, you'll be prompted to re-enter your Facebook password for security purposes. Type in your password in the provided field. 7. **Confirm the Email Change:** Facebook will send a confirmation email to your new email address. Check your inbox for the email and follow the instructions to confirm the change. 8. **Primary Email:** Once you've confirmed the new email address, return to the "General Account Settings" on Facebook, and you'll see the new email address listed in the "Contact" section. To make it your primary email address, click on the "Primary Contact" button next to the new email address. 9. **Remove Old Email (Optional):** If you want to remove your old email address from your Facebook account completely, you can do so by clicking "Remove" next to it.
