Learn how to make jeera cookies/biscuits at home using the convection mode of your microwave. Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE Ingredients Used: 50 gms Salted Butter 1 and ½ tbsp Powdered Sugar 195 gms Refined Flour ( All purpose flour) ½ tsp Baking Soda ½ tsp Baking Powder Less than ½ tsp Salt ( If you are using salted butter, don't add too much salt) 1 tsp Jeera (Cumin) 2 tbsp Milk Procedure: - In a bowl, take butter and powdered sugar and beat this mixture untill it turns creamy and pale yellowish. This is called the creaming process in baking. - Once done, then add dry ingredients like refined flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and jeera to this and mix well. - Add milk tod form a dough using this mixture. - Keep the dough aside for 10 minutes. - Then, flatten the dough and roll it out. Remember to sprinkle some maida on your rolling surface. - Cut cookies in any shape you want. - Bake the cookies at pre-heated ( pre-heat at 160° for 5 minutes) convection microwave oven at 160° for 20 minutes.
