For Sam Dickinson, Humber guitar major and winner of this year's $10,000 Oscar Peterson Grant for Jazz Performance from the Hnatyshyn Foundation, playing music is in his blood. Literally. Sam's dad Brian Dickinson is a Juno-award-winning musician and composer, and one of the most highly-regarded jazz pianists in Canada. He also happens to be the head of Humber Music's piano department. Humber Today sat down with Brian and Sam, and they showed us that, for them, music is really a family affair.
