Lyrics: [part 1]: The Escape At last, I escaped the Land of Rocking Vampires The evil and darkness have tired me I now wander with deep wounds in my soul Will this pain ever end? On a beach I cease running And look at the dark sky The moon is no longer blue and evil Nor do the stars sing litanies of horror The ocean’s breeze is so delightful The waves’ melody so brightful I sit on the sand and admire the moon Hoping that the pain will disappear soon I lay my head down and admire the stars Waiting for somebody to heal my scars I close my eyes and fall asleep Diving in an ocean of emotions so deep [part 2]: The Melody I am awakened by this enchanting sound Of a beauty rare to be found I gaze at the ocean and what do I see? A being so graceful is in front of me A woman with long blonde hair Floats above the water and there She plays with mighty grace a flute A melody so romantic and smooth With clear blue eyes she stares at me Her innocent smile outpasses all fantasy She starts singing with her angelic voice All heavenly beings rejoice The girl walks to me and says: “Won’t you join me in the sea?” Slowly my pale skin blushes And my cheeks red start to be I grab her hand and in the water we dive My skin is getting wetter and wetter Things I’ve never seen in my life To me they shall soon be discovered [part 3]: The Ocean We dive into the ocean’s depths The mystical journey has begun Colorful fishes and their nests Make the sights so lightened Red crabs dance with oysters in their hands Pink squids pour ink on the sands The corals form a giant fall A majestic ruby which shall never fall We see a being so sharp It’s none other than the mighty shark No creature stands against its will He catches his prey with great skill In a powerful current we swim The turtles join us and ask: “Mermaid Lucia, who is him?” “A vampire from the land of dusk.” The kingdom of waters is endless and colorful Its inhabitants so free and joyful I slowly wake up from the dream of marines As she brings me inside some caverns [part 4]: The Caverns The caverns decorated with blue crystals A true wonder of nature’s mother I watch her take off her sandals And put her feet into the water The girl smiles to me and says: “Here is my true form” Her feet turn into a fish tail And her clothes into sea shells I am mesmerized by the mermaid’s beauty Her crimson lips and pure skin Would make a soldier forget his duty And fall into a life of sin My vampire blood is moving fast My pale skin is sweating at last But I do not long for her blood This strange emotion is warming my heart I approach her and our lips touch We’re both enjoying this much “What is this that I feel?” “Now you know that love is for real” [part 5]: The Forbidden Love As the mermaid is showing me the caverns We suddenly stop in front of a palace Its towers built of sapphire and emerald Its walls paved with royal gold But out of the castle two guards come out We’re in danger, there is no doubt They catch us and start laughing While they bring us in front of the king We kneel down in front of the monarch An old green man with long beard With a fierce voice he starts his speech: “Such a blasphemy has never been heard!” He recalls our species’ differences and thus With an angry voice he forbids our love The relationship which survives the least Is between the Beauty and the Beast The king expels me out of the seas And the guards take me away I watch my mermaid wiping the tears from her eyes Oh, why must everything be this way?
