Too Many Squirrels's video: Merlin - Solitude

I love the Lord of the Rings films and theres a scene that is so heartbreaking and I thought it would fit for Merlin. I used the dialogue of Elrond when he was talking to Arwen in 'The Two Towers' about what she would have to go through if she gave up her chance to sail to the Grey Havens and instead stayed in Middle Earth. She would lose Aragorn and be utterly alone. I wanted it to seem like there was a voice in the Crystal Cave guiding Merlin. I adapted Elronds words to Arwen so they would fit for Merlin. I wanted to convey the loneliness that Merlin would suffer waiting for Arthur, the grief he would have to endure everyday and the darkness he would have to fight by himself.
