Why - enjoy (: (Verse 1) Why do we do these things? Why do we worship our flesh? You think it appeals to everyone, put that thing to rest, there's nothing more annoying, then you thinking you run this thang, cut that attitude out, or you'll end up in Hell with shame, don't need to talk like the world, don't need to walk like the world, don't need to dress like the world, or devastation will unfurl, gauges ain't cool, and neither are plugs, you look like you need attention, you look like you're on drugs, unnatural piercings are bad but they won't send you to the pit, but if Jesus didn't have any, then why on earth do we do it? We're called to be like Christ, we wanna appeal to men, why do we have to look just like the world to reach them? We need to live a clean life, we need to reach the lost, there's nothing for us to pay, cause Jesus paid the cost, So we must recognize the father, world can not offer, anything larger, God is calling, we are brawling, Hell is falling, Maranatha. (Hook 2x) (Hook) Why (do we love our flesh) Why (are we hypocrites) Why (do we compromise) Why (are we doing this) Why (do we shun the church) Why (do we ignore the hurt) Why (are we not on alert) Why (is it too much work) (2x) (Verse 2) So why do we do these things? Well let me answer y'all, God kicked Lucifer out of Heaven, sin made the dragon fall, we ain't perfect no we're not, we are bound by chains, but we serve a perfect Lord, on the throne He reigns, He bore up all our burdens, was nailed to a tree, brutally beaten beyond recognition for you and me, He was killed for us, but He rose from the grave, fought death, beat it, now you can be with Him in His grace, so what's your excuse? Are you too young? Do you just want to party all day and get drunk? You Only Live Once the motto? That's a straight up lie, I've been born again, I've been saved by Jesus Christ, why are we asking ourselves "What can God do for me?" Instead we should be asking "What can I do for the King?" So no more asking why, just think about who, like "Who can I impact and be an example to?" (Hook 2x)
