You used to be so happy, you used to shine bright, but now you're all alone, you're feeling far from home, crushed by your depression, not answering your phone, how'd this come to be? you used to be so free, living everyday blind, but now you can see, that this world is cruel, and you have lost the duel, swimming in your sorrows, you're drowning in the pool, skin is stained red, from you that's where it bled, everything is going wrong, you wish you were dead, away from all this pain, avoiding hurt and shame, crippled by bad decisions and the choices you've made, were you a waste, a mistake from the start? No one cares anyway, I'm gonna end this truce, that I have with my life, an agreement we've made, if it gets any worse, kill yourself and escape, your parents hate your guts, at least that's what you think, and at school it's the same, you're coming to the brink, people not so nice, in fact they may insult, ridicule and tear you down, it's the end result, put that blade away, I know you're in disarray, humiliated by your faults, feeling like a stray, the blood is pouring down, as you are crying out, "Is there anyone who cares?", you have so much doubt, you've been called a whore, a freak, a slut, no more, you just wanna end this grief destroying your core, embarrassed by your scars, but you can't seem to quit, the addiction's too strong, you lose and submit, to these very demons, they push you to the edge, make you feel like a disaster without knowing regret, you think it's said and done? That you are far too gone? That's just a lie from the pit of Hell, listen to the Son, your life has a purpose, so don't reject the hope, keep your head above the storm, keep yourself afloat, bow your knee to Christ, surrender all of you, there is nothing else, nothing on this earth will do, so change your mind and live right, giving it all you got, eliminate your fear, at a price you were bought
