IISM WORLD's video: Mr Abhishek Shekhawat on Grassroots Development IISM Alumni Sports Management

Mr. Abhishek Shekhawat is IISM Alumni from our 1st batch (2010-11). Currently, he is the Associate Vice President at Olympia Sportz & Events Pvt. Ltd. with a team of 600 staff members to develop 12 different sports activities across India with more than 75,000 players. In the video, Mr. Abhishek apprises about the importance of Grassroot Development for the upliftment of sports. He states how necessary it is for athletes to get exposure and opportunity to showcase their talent from a young age. Mr. Abhishek says that institutes like IISM play a significant role in training Sports Management professionals who contribute largely in the development of sports in India. Abhishek is a CA Certified Coach. He previously worked as the General Manager - Game Development for Cricket Australia’s Program in India to promote and lead CA coaching program initiative in the country. He has also worked voluntarily with ICC game development team, Nepal Cricket, Uganda Cricket, Odisha Cricket Association, Rajasthan Cricket Association to develop Cricket and sports.
