Quentin Tarantino è indiscutibilmente un grande regista ma ha sempre attinto dai film e registi del passato (un esempio sono le corrispondenze filmiche tra Kill Bill e Lady Snowblood di Toshita Fujita del 1973). Ebbene, fra i tanti registi a cui si è ispirato sicuramente appartiene anche Russ Meyer. Un regista di culto che, pur relegando la sua produzione ai B-movie, ha spesso mostrato un linguaggio innovativo e sfrontato. Personalmente consiglio vivamente di recuperare almeno Lorna (1964) e Motorpsycho (1965) un fulgido esempio di bikexploitation. Buona visione.
