Alla regia il sottovalutato e talentuoso Robert Siodmak (consiglio di recuperare perlomeno I Gangsters del 1946 e lo Specchi Scuro sempre del 1946). Qui vi propongo l'omicidio ad inizio film, costruito alla perfezione alternando la finzione del film in sala e la realtà della camera d'albergo.
