Dr. Stef Keris further evidences the presence of Muslim forces on the Iberian Peninsula prior to Tariq bin Ziyad’s historic conquest in places such as the small island of Pantelleria south of Italy, Taifa, Cyprus and parts of Switzerland. A brief history of the pre-Islamic Berbers culture, language and civilization in North Africa is also presented with insightful detail.
