@Inaugural Run of Speed Sensation NAGPUR BILASPUR VANDE BHARAT Train-18 Skipping Kanhan!! #firstvideo
The Latest Speed Sensation of Central Railways and another addition to India's Glamorous Vande Bharat Trains, 20825/20826 Bilaspur Nagpur Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express skips Kanhan honking all the way! This is the 6th Vande Bharat Train introduced by Indian Railways which was flagged off by PM Narendra Modi from Nagpur Railway Station. About Vande Bharat (T18) Trains- (Source - Wikipedia) The Vande Bharat Express, also known as Train 18, is an Indian semi-high-speed, intercity, EMU train which is operated by the Indian Railways only on three prominent routes as of October 2022, one from New Delhi (NDLS) to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK) the second one from New Delhi (NDLS) to Varanasi (BSB) and the third one is from Gandhinagar to Mumbai Central. It was designed and manufactured by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) at Perambur, Chennai under the Indian government's Make in India initiative, over a span of 18 months. The unit cost of the first rake was estimated at ₹100 crore (US$13 million), although it is expected to go down with subsequent production. At the original price, it is estimated to be 40% cheaper than a similar train imported from Europe. The train was launched on 15 February 2019, by which date a second unit will have been produced and readied for service. The service was named 'Vande Bharat Express' on 27 January 2019. Vande Bharat Express is designed to be capable of running at a maximum speed of 160 kmph that can be touched in only 140 seconds for commercial purpose and it exceeded 180kmph during testing, but the tracks on which the train operates are not capable of supporting such high speeds, hence the train is operated at a maximum speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) In this context, it can be said that the Gatimaan Express, the fastest train of India as per maximum permissible speed operates at 160 km/h (99 mph) and Habibganj–New Delhi Shatabdi Express, the second fastest train of India as per maximum permissible speed has maximum permissible speed of 150 kmph. As per a Facebook post by Western Railway on 30 September 2022, 0-160 Kmph in 145 Sec by Vande Bharat 1.0 and 129 sec by Vande Bharat 2.0 and Designated Residual Acceleration of Vande Bharat 1.0 is 0.05 m/s2, and of Vande Bharat 2.0 is 0.11 m/s2 and as per another post by them on the same day, New Vande India (Bharat) 2.0 features 0 to 100 kilometers per hour speed of train in just 52 seconds.
