@SoWashCo Students Share what Black History Month Means to Them

We recently connected with students at East Ridge, Park and Woodbury high schools and asked them to share their perspectives about what Black History Month means to them. The SoWashCo Schools community is invited to our Black History Month celebration from 6-9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, 2023 at East Ridge High School. Families will enjoy food, student performances, senior recognitions, activities and games. The theme of this year’s celebration is Black Influence. The event is organized by our students and sponsored by SoWashCo Schools Black Student Unions.
