The 12-hour district bandh called by the Lower Subansiri unit of the All Nyishi Youth Association and the All Yachuli Students' Union passed off on Monday. The union members also claimed that the district unit ANYA president has been detained by the police. The bandh was held due to the non-fulfillment of their demand of 'dislodging the functional rural work circle SE Ziro and shifting it permanently to Yachuli.'
