As an environmental defender, she protects her forest and its main river Tuichi against destructive mining and large-scale dams. In the face of unaccountable companies and money-driven governments looking to coerce the communities into consent, how does she persist? Ruth is part of a resistance network in Bolivia called Contiocap.
