Finance is a major indirect driving force in landscape management. Civil society organisations working towards sustainable management of ecosystems therefore have to engage with financial institutions. IUCN NL, WWF NL and VBDO designed the capacity development track ‘Making Finance Work for Us’, where participants learn the basic principles of engagement with the financial sector. During a ‘Sustainable Finance Workshop’ in April 2018, over 30 participants from civil society organisations around the world came together to deepen their knowledge and skills on engaging with financial institutions and to develop joint action plans to influence relevant financial institutions. This video provides an impression of the event and lessons learned!
