Ian Black's video: Keeper Original

@Keeper (Original)
About three weeks in the making, this song features harmonics, arpeggios, a key change, a modal bridge, and even an echoed section (cheeky bit of editing since I'm an acoustic boy) - all that in addition to the usual bells and whistles. A bluesy twang here and there to keep you on your toes. But I don't think it's any less listenable for all that stuff going on. I guess I'm trying to say that I'm proud of this one. Mind you, the level of anxiety I experience when it's time to record is really... worrying. I can play this song without thinking when it's just practice, but as soon as I hit record my heart beats four times as fast, my brain stops altogether, and my limbs feel heavier and lighter at the same time. Recording is a struggle, for sure. But in this case, assuming somebody's reading this and thinking "you did a good job this time", I'm willing to say it's worth the pain.
