@Finnegans Bar and Grill at Universal Studios Orlando tour and review and meeting The Mummy
Where are we today? Here in the middle of New York… In Universal Studios Orlando Florida’s New York. We are here today, across from the mummy to have lunch at Finnegan’s bar and grill. It is one of our favorite places in Universal Studios and we are super hungry, so let’s eat! Finnegans features a menus filled with Irish American favorites like fish and chops, shepherds pie and corned beef and cabbage along with standards like burgers, salads, and a full bar. Stepping inside you know you are in an Irish pub and it feels like one you could find in Brooklyn or Manhatten. From the beams and plated ceilings, to the memorabilia on the walls, this feels like home. There are 3 large dining areas for you to choose from and each has it’s own character but the food is going to be great wherever it is you sit. Finnegans also has a full bar which makes it a great place to cool off between rides. During lunch and dinner it can get pretty busy but they will take your number and text you when your table is ready so you can wander around the parks or have a drink while you wait for your table to be ready. Irish American favorites like coned beef and cabbage, beef pasties, and fish and chips are great here. I’m ordering the Webb burger, a hamburger topped with corned beef, swiss, and fried battered onions. Here, they also have my favorite cider on draft, Magners. It’s a dry hard cider that isn’t too sweet, and very refreshing. With purchase of your entrée you get fresh baked soda bread with butter and apple butter. It is delicious, and a favorite with my family. This is a great way to keep your appetite at bay until food is served. Lunch is here! Ian got a cheeseburger, with fries and 2 pickles while Cilly got the kids fish and chips with tarter sauce. Dada got the Newcastle chicken which has a grilled chicken breast topped with peppercorn butter over garlic mashed potatoes and root vegetables. It’s his favorite here. The serving sizes here are very generous and there is always enough for everyone to try everything. My webb burger is exactly what I need in order to spend a full day at the park. Even if I can only eat about half of it before getting full. The fried onions are super crispy and the corned beef is a great addition. The food here is really good, We never leave hungry, and with our annual pass discount it is very reasonable. When you are done eating, you can sometimes catch the Blues Brothers show right outside of the exit. Or you could have a dance party on the streets of New York. The possibilities here are endless! The one thing about Universal is that you never know what can happen happen here. One minute you could be minding your own business, just enjoying the parks and the next you might accidentally summon an Egyptian Pharoah’s vengeful spirit in full 12 foot terrifying glory. Thank you for watching and let us know what your favorite Place to eat in the parks are, and maybe we will see you there next! As always please feel free to subscribe, like and share if you enjoyed. We do appreciate it. Bye bye for now!
