Where are we today? Today we are located at Thunder Falls Terrace in Universal Studios Island of Adventure. Located in the heart of Jurrasic Park this is one of the larger dining options in Jurassic Park featuring two large dining rooms overlooking River Adventure’s descent. It is a quick service restaurant and accepts Universal’s dining plan and features a menu of smoked turkey legs, bbq ribs and chicken, salads and rice bowls among others. The desserts are key lime cheesecake, brookie (brownie cookie combined) and a banana tart. You can purchase the freestyle cups or get refils here as well. The cost is a pretty decent for a theme park lunch. My whole family was able to share lunch for under 40 dollars with our annual passholder discount. You watch your food being assembled in front of you so you can customize your meal. There are quite a few sides to choose from. I love their roasted potatoes, and the kids love the black beans and rice. There are large cobs of corn and French fries. It’s one of our favorite places in Islands of adventure to grab a meal. The portion sizes are good and no one leaves hungry here. The view here, along with the food is the star of the show. The Jurassic park river adventures’s slide comes down before you if you sit on this side of the restaurant. You can see an impressive spray of water while you enjoy your food. The details are all dinosaur themed and this is fun for both the kids and adults.
