Hello and welcome to the channel! If you are new consider subscribing so you don't miss any of the future episodes of this exciting build. I recently got a 1998 Toyota Tacoma as a trade for my R6. In this video I will be making my own gap guards since I have been looking around and they are going for $100 - $150 and I am not going to spend that kind of money on rubber. So I decided to make my own with some rubber I got at Walmart that is used as a trunk mat. In the future I will be making the front ones as well but for now the rear ones are done. I hope you guys enjoy this video and decide to do this instead of buying the expensive rubber that these companies sell. Make sure you use screws that are relatively short so that they don't go through your bed and through the plastic bed cover so that you don't see them through. Also, if you see anything that is bear metal make sure you hit it with some paint so that it does not rust over time.
