Morse was force to leave his entire music life due to illness of his wife who's battling with cancer. In his honour we present to you a rare gem recorded almost twenty years ago. In late 2003 Deep Purple were supporting their first album in the 21st century "Bananas", which saw the debut of Don Airey behind the keyboards. With this line up they visited Belgrade for the first time, being one of the first big bands to visit Serbia after the horrendous 90's wars that resulted in bombing of the country in 1999. As the concert was held on December 7th, a day before Steve Morse arrived first to do one of his "Guitar Clinics" at on of Belgrade's clubs. To his surprise the place was packed with audience aching for live rock music, which reflected Purple's sold out show a day later in front of 22 thousand fans.
