Imaginando's video: How to make the basses from Tiga You Gonna Want Me with DRC

@How to make the basses from Tiga 'You Gonna Want Me' with DRC
Time for another DRC - Polyphonic Synthesizer Sound Design Tutorial! After a short break, Lucas is back to attack another classic track with his magical powers of sound design sorcery! Today we have DJ, producer, and prolific remixer; Tiga and his 2006 track 'You Gonna Want Me'. From a hippie family living in India to the Canadian nightclub scene, Tiga has been around turntables since the 90s. Starting with parties in 1996, he quickly established and integrated himself into the booming house music scene of the time, amassing a crew of regular collaborators, among a peer group of equally talented artists. In 1998, he launched his own record label ‘Turbo Recordings’, which besides providing a home for his original tracks, it also managed to break through artists like Chromeo, Proxy, and Azari & III. In the early 2000s, Tiga rapidly gained a reputation for his remixing skills, working with unique artists like ‘Cabaret Voltaire’, but it was not long before he turned his focus back to his personal productions, releasing his debut album ‘Sexor’ in 2006, followed by ‘Ciau!’ in 2009. His latest album, this time delivered inside the sleeve of the Ninja Tune label, ‘No Fantasy Required’ was released in 2016. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for another! Throughout his 30-or-so-year career, Tiga has won a handful of awards, including ‘Best Tech House/Techno Track’ at the 2014 ‘International Dance Music Awards’ for ‘Let's Go Dancing’, and the 2007 Juno Awards ‘Dance Recording of the Year’ for his album ‘Sexor’.
