Imagineer0988's video: Led Zeppelin

@Led Zeppelin
PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS Many of you may recall Hard Rock Park's attraction, Led Zeppelin - the Ride, a Bolliger & Mabillard roller coaster inspired by the classic rock band. After seeing countless videos of this attraction, I became agitated at the thought of having such a legendary band subjected to such an ordinary roller coaster. Although the ride's concept was great, I felt that it was poorly executed. From this agitation, I set out to create a Led Zeppelin roller coaster that was fittingly legendary. Looking to Disney's Imagineers for inspiration, before I could begin designing this attraction, I had to create a story to support it. I didn't want this ride's story or concept to appear too much like Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, so I merely used it for inspiration. As the story of this attraction goes, Led Zeppelin is currently trying to re-establish itself as a legendary rock band by creating a new album. The band manager loves the idea and suggests that they first let the world know that they are back on the rise. In order to accomplish this, the band comes up with the idea of making a modern music video for the classic song, "Whole Lotta Love". To promote the music video, the band also comes up with the idea of inviting select guests - that's you - to watch them film it. Guests enter the attraction along New York Avenue, inspired by the Streets of America in Disney's Hollywood Studios. The filming location of the band's music video is Stage 68 at the fictitious company, New York Records. Once inside the studio (the preshow), guests watch as the band becomes worried; the extras haven't showed up to the set, and there's no way the director can film the video without them. Suddenly, the manager comes up with the idea of using you as extras, and you then find yourself boarding a roller coaster train. The band warns you that the video is a bit "trippy", and that you'll feel like you're back in the '70s. With that, you're off to become a star. The ride is heavily inspired by Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in the Walt Disney Studios, Paris, and the inclined launch is inspired by Space Mountain in Disneyland Paris. See if you can find some of the subtle tributes I left for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster throughout the experience. I also want to extend a special word of thanks to Gadget, who created the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster train featured in this video.
