Kabini - A jungle full of surprises. To track big cats here, one needs to be dependent a lot on alarm calls. It was the morning safari on our 2nd day here, we were disappointed so far as no luck was there with us . We missed 2 tigers by mere 5-6 seconds in our previous safari but something big was waiting for us to get witnessed. While we were at the backwaters, a few alarm calls raised our attention and immediately we reached the spot from where they were coming. After waiting for 10-15 seconds, came out the bog bold male leopard un bothered with our presence, cam out of the bushes and crossed the safari track before it vanished on the other side of the jungle. What a sight it was !!
