Jodhpur: Navratri के पहले दिन Mehrangarh मां चामुंडा माता मंदिर से Live | Rajasthan News Navratri 2024 के पहले दिन, Jodhpur के Mehrangarh किले स्थित चामुंडा माता मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं का तांता लगा रहता है. मां चामुंडा को जोधपुर के शासकों और स्थानीय निवासियों की कुलदेवी माना जाता है. मान्यता है कि माता के आशीर्वाद से ही सन 1965 में Pakistan के हमले के दौरान किले को कोई छू तक नहीं पाया था. मां चामुंडा का यह मंदिर राव जोधा ने 1460 में बनवाया था, और नवरात्रि के दौरान यहां विशेष पूजा-अर्चना की जाती है.
