This is not a recipe invited by me, it has been used in india since very very long time. It is so easy and cheap alternative to the harmful chemicals available in the market. It is very easy to make at home and take just a bit of time. You can easily buy these ingredients from amazon or any other online store, you can easily get them from any pansari shop as well, if you want to buy the best and natural powder which has all these ingredients in powdered form I have given you the link above. Now lets start hoe can we make this recipe: Buy reetha, alma and shikakai and meethi, take little quantity of each and soak them overnight, you can take them depending upon the length on your hair, now my hair are short so I just need 10 10 grams of each. Next morning just crush them a little as they become softer, and let them soak for little while and put them on stove, on low sim gas let it boil for ten minutes and add any essential oil if you want to, I have added rosemary essential oil for hair growth and tea tree oil for my scalp issues. After that I just strain it all out, now if you want you can add your favourite essential oil after you are done staining it off. Now your shampoo is ready. Transfer it in a bottle and shampoo like you usually do, on damp hair apply all over the length and scalp. massage it for sometime and rinse it out. Alternatively, if you want to save the hassle, just buy the powdered form it is so easy to make and use. This alternative is inexpensive and easy. I just take two tablespoon of this alma,reetha and shikakai and add water into it. Also, for this you need to soak meethi overnight and make a paste. when you add water into the powder add meethi paste and leave for 20 minutes, strain it out and your shampoo is ready. Add essential oil if you want to and you are done. I have got my powdered form from Purpple.com, you can definitely try out their products, they are natural and great. I am falling in love with alps goodness products. Now, after shampooing you will find your hair super silky, without the use of conditioner and your scalp. very very clean.
