From July 18, 2022, these hospital rooms will be subject to a 5% GST. Based on the availability of battery packs, electric vehicles are now eligible for the reduced GST rate of 5%. GST on hiring trucks and goods carriages would decrease to 12% from 18%. GST on orthopaedic devices, including splints and ostomy appliances, would be reduced from 12 to 5%.
