Di hutan kota di kawasan Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Senayan warga Jakarta bisa menikmati hawa sejuk hutan di tengah kebisingan kota Jakarta. Hutan Kota GBK sengaja dibangun sebagai ruang terbuka hijau, paru-paru kota, dan lahan konservasi di kota Jakarta. Luas hutan kota di kawasan GBK ini mencapai 4,5 hektare dengan pembagian 1,3 hektare dikelola Pusat Pengelolaan Kompleks Gelora Bung Karno (PPKGBK). Sedangkan luas 3,2 hektare dikelola oleh Plataran Indonesia. Sebelumnya Hutan Kota GBK adalah lahan lapangan golf Driving Range di GBK. Pengunjung bisa memasuki kawasan hutan kota ini secara gratis, Waktu untuk berkunjung yakni dari jam 06.00-10.00 WIB dan Jam 15.00-18.00 WIB. Khusus untuk Hari Senin hutan kota GBK ini tutup.
