Syeda Bushra Iqbal, the first wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and renowned religious scholar Amir Liaquat Hussain, has confirmed that she has been divorced by her husband. Amir Liaquat had confirmed his second marriage with actress Tooba Amir in December 2018. Exactly two years after Aamir Liaquat publicly acknowledged his second marriage, his first wife has confirmed that he has divorced her. Syeda Bushra Iqbal announced this in a brief Instagram post on Wednesday. While she did not say when exactly she was divorced, Bushra did say her ex-husband divorced her at the request of his second wife. She wrote that while divorcing is one thing, doing it over the phone at the request of Tooba, was painful and traumatic for her and her children. Bushra concluded her message by saying that her case now rests with Allah.
