O Inhotim em Cena apresenta o show de Jards Macalé, tendo como cenário a obra “Invenção da cor, Penetrável Magic Square, De Luxe” (1977), de Hélio Oiticica. No repertório, estão músicas da turnê “Besta fera” e canções favoritas de Oiticica, que era amigo do músico. Os artistas foram dois grandes expoentes do movimento Tropicalista brasileiro, na década de 60 (Oiticica nas artes plásticas e Macalé na Música Popular Brasileira).
