I recently saw a post from a 7 figure woman entrepreneur announcing that she's taking a sabbtical from her business for an indefinite amount of time. There were a few reasons she gave but from my perspective, they essentially boil down to an inability to build a sustainable business. When I speak of sustainability, it's not limited to being environmentally conscious or having recurring revenue, but rather necessarily includes using the wisdom of cycles to construct your business in all areas (work flows, operations, marketing, availabilility of offers, etc) that align with what works best for you and your lifestyle. As CEO the power is in your hands to do business differently and that starts with using the wisdom of cycles to create a sustainable business.
