"Bus Man" Ted Campbell's Masterpiece - Fully Restored 1956 Greyhound Scenicruiser - Williams, CA Designed by Raymond Loewy, and manufactured by General Motors, the PD-4501 Greyhound Scenicruiser was once a rolling icon of the American way of life. It was the most distinctive parlor bus of the modern era. A staggering 1001 of these deck-and-a-half designed busses were produced from 1954 and 1956, boasting air-ride suspension and air conditioning. However, not without its own set of maintenance issues, the PD-4501 was eventually discontinued in 1975.
