A Retro Contemporary Style Design with sharp contrast and neutral colour palette bringing the beauty with streamlined materials, integration of wood, marble, metal and contrasted with bright and bold colours of wall art and lighting fixtures. The exemplary Interior Designers at Interazzo.com took up a 3BHK Project to convert it into an innovative retro theme based residence in just 120 working days in Bangalore, powered by Hettich, Hafele/Blum. Project Value: INR 36.00 Lakhs (Inclusive of GST). Location: Salarpuria Sattva Magnificia, Bangalore. In the Foyer we have used monochrome theme with neutral soft back drop, we have given cabinets for shoe-storage/storage which are of Duco finished shutters and MDF fluted drawers with PTO (Push to open) mechanism. There is a beautiful semi partition made of Bronze mirrors running from floor to ceiling. The wall paintings are bringing the traditional thread and complementing with the overall design. In the living area we have given an entertainment unit with laminated panelling with golden t-profile, Cove lighting surrounding the panelling and to the back of it we have provided Veneer finishing. We have given two tall units on the either side of the panelling to balance the design, the tall units are designed with tinted glass and black aluminium frame with profile handles. Internal shelves are added with profile lighting. A standard L-shaped Kitchen is consisting of Antaro Tandem boxes, Blum bottle pull out, there are two Corners, One is treated with Corner Tandem box with fixed front and the other is treated with Magic corner. For the Wall Unit we have given Aventos HF lift up and Shutter with inner shelf on the other side. We have also provided Rehau PVC Roller Shutter, next to that we have designed open box unit. Whole Kitchen is finished with Senosan Acrylic and the laminate is used for the open box unit. We have designed a Tandem box pantry unit and we have provided a tall unit with in-built appliances. For the utility area, base unit storage is added with shutters and there is a provision for Washing machine. Dining area is consisting of beautiful wall décor, we have given mirror on ply and the console unit in the dining has got duco finished shutters and drawers. The bar unit has got diagonal wooden storage to place the wine bottles. The primary advantage thing is that flat has got abundant of natural lighting. To the bay window seating we have designed cushioning and added storage below the seating with duco finished shutters. The ceiling is designed with veneer finish and standard gypsum board false ceiling is added with abstract design with cove lighting. Each and every element of the design is synchronising with one another and creating a sense of harmony. In the Master Bedroom we have provided Queen Size cot with storage with cushioned headboard and side tables are also added. An Intricate wall beadings are added on either side of the cot enumerating more beauty into the space. Lacquered glass finished Aristo wardrobe is installed, the sliding shutters are running from floor to ceiling. Inside we have given an hanger space and internal loft and there are set of drawers with glass front. Next to the wardrobe we have given laminated open box unit which client has asked for. MBR has a walk-in-closet with hinged wardrobe with tinted glass shutters. Inside the wardrobe there is an accessory pull-out, trouser pull-out and customised shoe pull-out. In order to carry out the richness in design we have added a golden t-profile on sliding door of the washroom. Inside there is a wall unit with shutters and open box unit with profile lighting and Mirror with cove lighting. Home office space/GBR has got a unique piece, a folding cot with Ebco mechanism which is placed in between the hinged wardrobes and open boxes. Rattan pattern is added to the wardrobe shutters to bring out the retro theme. L-shaped ledge is provided for the study unit and open boxes are added to wall with profile lighting. The exposed brick structure is bringing the raw touch to the space and laminated open boxes are added to the wall for the storage of books. The residence has many features which are admirable, the retro contemporary style which is commonly used over the past couple of decades, notably due to its timeless features and we also tried to add little bit of eclectic elements into the space and showing that beauty can come in a space of any size.
