Ishita Gupta's video: Do you judge people How to have compassion instead

@Do you judge people? How to have compassion instead
Today’s video is about how to take judgement and turn it into compassion. Last week I had a revelation about someone I judge in my life. I’m always telling her, “Improve your self-talk” “Don’t speak so badly about yourself.” Then last week I randomly stumbled upon emails I found from an old relationship and SHOCKER: I acted EXACTLY like this person and did the EXACT same things I’d instructed her NOT to do. I was under confident and negative, “I feel like a fraud” and “I feel stupid.” Even my partner tried to encourage me but I didn’t allow it in; my response, “It’s not worth it, it won’t make a difference.” Oof! Zero self kindness. All of a sudden a deep wave of compassion hit me and I teared up. I realized that I was *exactly* the same person as this woman, except I’d spent 8 years learning and practicing my confidence. Because now I really AM confident, proud, and happy! It was a HUGE new road of compassion that blasted open when I saw the *only* difference was that I’d trained to build up confidence. Getting that glimpse of who I USED to be showed me that we all have to start somewhere. That starting line is just the beginning because life doesn’t stop. Good and bad things will keep happening and we’ll continue to be molded into the people we’re meant to be. It’s a process. That’s the beautiful thing. Confidence IS learnable. I am proof of that. I also share in the video simple solutions for how to BE THERE for someone when they’re not quite at the “level” of development YOU want them at. It’s tricky to learn but once you do, you can actually BE with people without fixing, controlling, solving, or “helping them.” You can just BE with them. Most times that’s enough. Being there is all someone really needs. Hope you like today’s video! If you do, subscribe to my YouTube channel, "Like" this video and leave me a comment below. I wanna hear from ya!
