Isolde Nowak's video: Karamojong Tribal Culture in Uganda

@Karamojong Tribal Culture in Uganda
One day trip to the Karamojong, a tribe similar to the Massai, near Moroto in Uganda. We hiked to the hills with our local guide Irene to meet the people in their natural surroundings and enjoy the nature around Moroto. In the afternoon we visited a Karamojong Manyatta how their villages are called and the Kraal, where they held their cattle during the night. They showed us the blood-draining ritual, where they collect the blood of a cow to drink it or mix it to the evening meal. The Karamojong people lived together in Ethiopia as one ethnic group and migrated around 1600 A.D. to settle in present-day Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda. Next trip to north east Uganda with visits at the Karamojong https://www.isolde-nowak.de/uganda-nordtour---kidepo-valley-intensiv-2020 more trips: www.isolde-nowak.de Thanks to @Karatunga Tours and our guide Irene. Mehr zu meinen Reisen: https://www.isolde-nowak.de
