Istanbul and Food's video: Walking Reopened Istanbul Sirkeci Sarayburnu Sultanahmet

Today we walk along the coastal road from Sirkeci to the beautiful Sarayburnu viewpoint. Sarayburnu (Seraglio Point) is the point where the Golden Horn, the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus come together on the historic peninsula of Istanbul. Unfortunately this beautiful viewpoint where also Mustafa Kemal Atatürk oldest statue is situated was closed to the public for 15 years by the former municipality. The new Mayor of Istanbul opened the place again for public. They restored the statue, cleaned the area and a new landscaping project will start soon. We continue our walk along the Roman city walls, passing the Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia Mosque to the Sultanahmet Square. It has been a long time since I did not come to the Istanbul Historical Area of Istanbul.
