Vlog - I Poisoned People! Hey guys, It's Tammy! Welcome to my crazy channel! In today's video, I ended up having to head to the Walk In Clinic to get antibiotics! Yep, I ended up getting an infection in my mouth and a bladder infection! Infections really are a cancer patients worst enemy! Most people who die from the type of cancer I have, actually die from infections! So, at the first sign on infection, I have to see a doctor! It is a pain in the butt, but, it is essential to nip the infection in the bud before it reaches the blood stream! Chemotherapy lowers my immune system and increases my chances of getting an infection! It also makes fighting the infection harder! The weather near Edmonton, Alberta has been horrible! Last year at this time, we were enjoying balmy weather around +26 degrees. Not this year! Man, it is freaking freezing out! We are lucky if it reaches 0! I try not to complain about things like the weather because the weather is not something we can control! Tis what it tis! Lol. But come on man, enough is enough! I need some sunlight! I'm wilting away here from lack of sunlight and warmth! I really wonder what living in LA or Florida is like? My birthday is coming up! Yep, I am getting old! 45, and I can't believe it! I have basically stopped celebrating my birthday! Who wants to celebrate getting old and wrinkled and grey! Ha ha ha! But I actually look forward to my birthday because it marks another year that I have defeated cancer! It really is something to celebrate! Yo, cancer, you little freak! I am stronger then you are! Actually, it is a reminder that God put me on this earth to live! And thanks to him and the love and support from my family and friends, I have been able to live another year! Each day is truly a gift more precious then anything else imaginable! So, Happy Birthday to me! I can not wait to turn 46! I have been smoke free for almost a year! Ya me! I quit smoking through vaping. Now, I am not telling you to start vaping just for fun or because it looks cool or it tastes good! If you never smoked, that would be silly! But vaping really is the only way that I was able to quit smoking. I am now starting to feel the desire to quit vaping! I want to be habit free! I am not sure how or when I will quit vaping, but it is something I am mentally trying to prepare for! I will keep you updated on that! I have really been enjoying learning to cook! I have never been the Martha Stewart type of domestic Godess, but lately I have been finding learning to cook fun! I've made a few slow cooker dishes that I am pretty sure even Chef Ramsey would find impressive! Ha ha ha! Okay, maybe not, but all the slow cooker recipes I have tried so far have been pretty delish! I share my "How I Poisoned People" story! I literally poisoned a few people a few times in my past (not intentionally, of course) and developed a fear of cooking! But the past few weeks, I have been overcoming that fear and learning to cook! If you don't know how to cook or you are culinary challenged like me, I really recently trying some simple, easy to do slow cooker recipes! My slow cooker is my most treasured kitchen appliance!
