Vlog - Oral Chemo, Bird of Hope & Moving Hey guys, It's Tammy! Welcome to my channel! In this video, I do my first weekly oral chemo! Wow, it certainly was an experience! It hit me pretty hard and I was sick for a few days. I think the main mistake I made was doing the two chemotherapy drugs at the exact same time! For future weeks, I will do them about 24 hours apart to help minimize the side effects. Some of the side effects I experienced was exhaustion, severe nausea, headache, vivid dreams, fever and chills. And yes, vivid dreams are a known side effect of this chemo drug. I also did some shopping. Got my new curtains from Giant Tiger. I only paid $7.00 for each panel. And they are black out curtains. I got two panels for my bedroom amd four panels for the living room. I also got my curtain rods, a painting, some decor items etc. In this video, I am preparing to finally officially move into my new apartment. Some of my furniture has finally arrived, including my dad's arm chair. He passed in 2013, but having his favourite chair here means so much to me. It is comforting to have it here! I also got a Bird of Hope that I named Harold! I got him from the Cross Cancer in Edmonton. Karl makes a visit in this video! He thought I was watching Peter Monn videos while I was recording on my phone and wouldnt leave me alone! Lol. He is a cutie and really loves Peter Monn! I think it is Peter's voice that he finds exciting! I take you on a short tour of what ai have in my apartment already! My bed, dresser, sofa, tv stand, stands, table and chairs etc have arrived and I am trying to set up! Got a new house phone installed for emergency purposes! I will probably never use it!
