So the next part of our journey lead us to the magnificent Valley of the kings in Luxor where we were able to explore several tombs. One being Ramses Vi which was amazing! I even got to go right up to his tomb as one of the guards let me climb right over and balance my way along the edge so I could actually touch it! A once in a lifetime moment! Next we made our way to a traditional shop where they made ornaments out of alabaster which they quarry from the rock. Last but not least we visited the tomb of Hatshepsut which was quite a sight almost like it was carved within the rock. Unfortunately only 30% is the original as reconstructed using concrete which is a shame. Hope your enjoying the series so far. Keep in touch.
