This is our first deployment mission of a 4 day operation in Afghanistan, Kunar province. With one of our members out due to internet issues, the remaining forces go speak to the village elder of a nearby settlement to gain information on possible suspects operating in the valley. =========================================================== We at the 6th LMB are a new unit based around the British Forces primarily 'The Rifles' as well as a small element in the Army Air Corps and a casual US army element. The unit's structure and equipment are based around the 2012-2018 deployments mixed up to fit the current game build. We utilise knowledge from 2 former British Army soldiers as well as the casual US army by a former US army soldier. We are a UK based unit but host later in the evening to accommodate those in the USA to take part also. Currently, we are doing operations on Tuesdays with briefings starting at 2130 with kickoff at 2200 GMT. ►►►6 LMB Discord is now open! - https://discord.gg/emyrWffwaj◄◄◄ The British MILSIM side of the unit requires qualifications and training to advance. We deliberately made it so almost every role has a qualification mainly to instruct the user on how it is done but to also have a progression tree for people to follow. However, if you have no wish to progress out of a rifleman role, basic training is the only class you would be required to take. The US Army side is a little more casual. We only require basic training to be completed to make sure players can play the game and after that, only Pilots, Snipers and Armored Vehicle operators to complete qualifications (To prevent spam). This means roles such as marksman, MG operators etc. do NOT require quals. With the 2 separate forces, we operate on the same mission and may have different objectives depending on the deployment. The story created will show for this too. You must however; [*]Be over the age of 16 [*]Have a microphone [*]Understand that the UK side requires quals to be achieved to progress. [*]Understand that we will not fast track anyone. Even if you claim to be a former super secret squirrel. [*]Own a legitimate copy of Arma Reforger Be willing to attend at least 2 operational missions per month and 1 training exercises / quals / schools per month. We have plans in place to open up the AAC when we get more members which will provide a transport role only. We also have plans for UKSF when we gain more members as an 'End Game' for the British Side. We have ZERO plans for the British Forces to run with armor such as tanks. The US Army side will provide that support with the M1A1 Abrams and Bradley AFV's.
