The bible speaks about the animals dwelling safely in the Kingdom and the animals eating grass and keeping company together peacefully. We will not be eating them, because YHWH will break the sword and they will have a covenant of safety from YHWH. No more wars or killing on his holy mountains. sorry, that means no hamburgers or lamb chops. If the animals can give up eating each other, why can't we do the same if we are indeed of a higher intelligence?
