Its Joeysworld's video: I m SAD and sometimes that s OK My poem

Joey gets SAD too, but it's ok. We were getting ready to make a fun, goofy vlog and Joey was feeling SAD. Like so many of us now days and instead of hiding it, he wanted to write a poem about it. He is hoping it will help others to know, that "Sometimes, it's OK to be Sad". Even though Joey has Autism and is usually Happy, he is still HUMAN and has those moments where he is sad,too. And he wanted everyone to know, that this is REAL LIFE and you can have moments of sadness. ITS HOW YOU RECOVER THAT IS IMPORTANT! SOMETIMES IT'S OK TO BE SAD: So most days,I'm pretty HAPPY. I try not to let things get me down. But sometimes,I can still feel sad, and I am not sure why? I know that I have alot of things going for me. And lot's to look forward to. BUT I STILL CAN FEEL SAD. I miss my friends, I miss my family, I miss the things I used to do. I know it won't last forever. BUT I CAN STILL FEEL SAD. My family tries to help, and do nice things for me, and listen to me. BUT I CAN STILL FEEL SAD. I tried to do things that cheer me up. Like writing letters,watching sports dvds, talking to friends on the phone. BUT I CAN STILL FEEL SAD. And i realized... IT'S OK TO SOMETIMES FEEL SAD. life isn't always rainbows,Its not sunny everyday. And the World has changed. So, I think sometimes being sad is ok. As long as I remember, that the Sun will still rise tomorrow. And at the end of a sad day, I say: Courage is not a ROAR, It is a quiet voice at the end of the day that says, 'i will try again tomorrow". (Disclaimer the last line, is something we have said for years in our house and we have no idea where it originated from).
