@Mega Man X Vile Facts! - It's Super Effective!!! - 16 Vile Facts!
► SUB HERE: https://goo.gl/Cr3TDE We're back with VILE! Mega Man X is one of my FAV games of all time, and with it is the COOLEST villain... VILLLEEEEEE! Subscribe and we'll tell you more cool facts! 1: Vile’s look and feel strongly resemble The Star Wars Bounty Hunter Boba Fette. And though the Japanese name for Vile, VAVA, can be sound similar to Baba, or Boba, his name is referencing the character Bubba Zanetti from the 1979 film Mad Max. 2: In Maverick Hunter X, you can defeat Vile in the Ride Armor in by jumping and shooting him rather than attacking the ride armor. This doesn’t change anything in the story. 3: Vile Mk-II had a model kit in the Mega Armor series, a series of Mega Man figures released by Bandai in Japan in which the armor of the figure can be removed and customized in a frame. Vile also had small miniatures of him. http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Mega_Armor 4: Vile’s D-Arts action figure comes with a glass of Bourbon, an homage to the rockman manga. After Armored Armadillo's death, X finds Vile in a bar holding a glass. Vile tells X it would not matter if the glass is filled with Bourbon or mud as Reploids can't tell the difference between them, and breaks the glass, and later in Sigma's fortress, Vile asks X if he wants a glass of Bourbon before dying. 6: Vile and Sigma share the same Japanese voice actor in Mega Man X8, Makoto Terada. Vile's voice has a noticeably mechanical and insane-sounding echo in the Japanese audio of X8, which is not found in his English voice. 7: Makoto Terada also does the voices for: Robert Lee - Ghost in the Shell: The Movie 2015 J. Geil - JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Oshō - Oh My Goddess Drachma - Skies of Arcadia Professor X - Lego Marvel Super Heroes Rowen J. Ilbert - Tales of Xillia Ricardo "Rico" Banderas, Grahf, Kahn Wong - Xenogears AND He dubs all of Sir Patrick Stewart as Jean Luc Picard in the Japanese version of Star Trek the Next Generation! 8: Vile has a brief cameo in issue 35 of the Archie Comics series. His appearance is based on a concept design of him from the first Mega Man X game. 9: Episode 26 of the Mega Man Animated Series is definitely my favourite, especially since they bring in Mega Man X, and with X came Vile! The two battle it off alongside of Spark Mandrill as Wily decides to take over the world with his lightanium weapon. Spoiler alert, Wily loses. 10: There is a fan theory that Rock, from the classic Mega Man series, evolved into Vile. Poster “Mordale” suggests is that due to Dr. Light’s adaptability programming, Rock could theoretically overwrite asimov’s programming and fight against humans, as he almost did in Mega Man 7 with Wily. Rock and X are the only 2 robots who can resist the Sigma virus, and even Zero and Sigma succumb to the virus’ will. As to why ROck becomes this is currently unknown, but I’m waiting with baited breath on his update... 11: This is a sweet trick to get unlimited ammo with VIle. After you beat the game and saved a Clear Data for it load up the clear data and when you select your weapons your slots will be infinite. NOt super useful AFTER the game however. 12: Although the player is not supposed to die against Vile with a Ride Armor, as he will try to capture X when his health is low, dodging his capture beam and getting contact damage will eventually result in X's death. Also, if X and the last Road Attacker kill each other, Vile will still appear and grab an invisible X. 13: It is possible to skip the dialogue between Vile and Zero in Sigma's fortress by using Wall Kick to avoid touching the floor and use the walls to reach the door to Vile. It’s super important in speed runs, and removes a huge chunk of time. Add another speed run piece. 14: There’s a popular Mega Man X meme expressing Capcom’s lack of love for Mega Man using a scene from Maverick Hunter X where vile beats up X. However, Capcom’s logo is tracked over Vile’s face. http://knowyourmeme.com/photos/773019-mega-man-rockman 15: In Higsby’s shop in Mega Man Battle network, you can find a way cool poster of Vile on the wall. 16: Vile makes a handful of cool cameo appearances in other games as well including: A character in the iOS game Zombie Cafe A fighter in the Rockman X3 handheld released by Bandai in 1995 in Mega Man Zero 2 as one of the four "haunting spirits" that attacks Zero if he is grabbed by Phoenix Magnion. In project Xzone and Xzone 2 as an antagonist And in everyone’s favourite mobile game: Xover. 17: Game FAQs did a favourite Maverick poll and coming in first place was Vile!
