Of course, specific noise is caused by the radiation of the smartphone and especially the working display. But I made this lapel microphone for the smartphone. With a laptop, the Chinese microphone makes less noise. But in any case, the noise is very much dependent on the position of the cable relative to the radiation sources. For example, if you turn off all the switching power supplies in the room, the noise will also decrease. But it is still better to use a shielded cable, then the result will be more predictable.
