Windows Modules installer consuming high memory usage in Windows 11 and 10? Try these simple four methods to fix the issue. 1: Open Services. Go to Windows Modules Installer. Open it. Set it to Manual. CLick on apply and ok. Right click on Windows Modules installer service and stop it if it's running. 2: Open Services. Go to Windows Update service. Set it to Manual OR Disabled (You can update your windows by Enabling it later). Click on APPLY and OK. Right click on Windows Update Service and Stop the service. 3: Open Control Panel - System and security - Security and Maintenance - Maintenance. Finish any pending tasks there, if any. 4: Open Settings. Scroll down to Troubleshoot - Other Troubleshooters - Windows Update - Run. RESTART your computer to apply the changes! Hope this works :-)
